Welcome to SociaBill

The board game Sociabill takes a role-play perspective in which the player is an entrepreneur who wants to launch a new product. In this case, it is a T-shirt. The aim of Sociabill is that players build their own businesses. The player has to consider the whole life cycle of his/her company while considering social impacts. To play Sociabill, players do not need any prior knowledge about social impacts or social life cycle assessment (S-LCA). The game can introduce the topic of S-LCA to non-experts and give them a clear understanding of the methodology. The game includes 4 stakeholder categories, 12 different impact sub-categories, and several action cards to add excitement. The game has been developed to increase not only interest in S-LCA but also awareness about social impacts among the players. Furthermore, the game shows that only by taking a close look into all life cycle phases, the holistic impacts of a product can be assessed.
